11 Nights / 10 Days   

  • Our tour starts from Sao Paulo Guarulhos Airport  (GRU)   

  • Our team will be waiting at the airport to check you in for our first flight

  • We'll meet our guide at the Cuiaba Airport and head to our first lodge for the Discover the Pantanal itinerary.

What's included: 

  • 2 Nights in Chapada dos Guimarães (target species: Red and Green Macaws)

  • 2 Nights along the Transpantaneira Hwy (target species: Anteaters, Rhea, Jaguars, Macaws, and juch more) 

  • 6 Nights in Porto Jofre (5 1/2 days in a private boat photographing jaguars, caiman, giant river otters, Jabiru storks and more!)

  • 3 meals daily ​

  • All guide and entrance fees â€‹

Not included: 

  • Additional nights beyond the described tour dates

  • Tips for guides and lodging staff

  • Passport fees, visas, medical costs, immunizations or insurance

  • Alcoholic beverages and bar bills (including sodas) are to be purchased directly from the lodges

  • Laundry or any personal services available through the lodges​

Physical Requirements:

  • Easy to Moderate - Participants should be in relatively good physical shape.

  • Must be able to ride on a bumpy road for 4 hours in a Jeep or similar vehicle on dirt / muddy roads.

  • Must be able to walk a 1/2 mile in hot weather (i.e. 95 degrees Fahrenheit) with uneven terrain, dirt paths and little or no shade.

  • Must must be able to carry your photo equipment in conditions mentioned above.

Who is this tour for?

  • This tour is for photographers of any level and for nature lovers

Target species:

  • Mammals: There are 236 mammal species in the Pantanal. We will target anteaters, howler, capuchin and marmoset monkeys, giant river otters, tapirs, marsh deer, and of course jaguars! 

  • Birds: There are 453 bird species - we will target some of: 5 species of macaws, 20 species of parrots, 13 species of herons and egrets, 6 species of ibises and spoonbills, and 5 species of kingfishers. We should also have multiple opportunities to photograph hawks, eagles, kites, southern screamers and the greater rhea.

Note: 

  • All lodges and services have been carefully vetted by Nossa Terra Tours to ensure the most comfortable experience possible. 

  • Wildlife behavior and sightings can't be guaranteed, however the dates and locations we offer should provide the good opportunities to photograph the target species listed above.
