Experience the amazing biodiversity of Ecuador's Cloud Forest, the Eastern Andean Slope and the Napo-Amazon regions.  You will have up-close opportunities to photograph the brilliant jewel-like hummingbirds, tanagers, toucans, motmots, antpittas and much more!

Tour includes:

  • 2  nights in Quito

  • 4 nights in the Cloud Forest

  • 3 nights on the Eastern Slope of the Andes

  • All transfers and transportation

  • All guide's and entrance fees 

  • All lodging and 3 full meals a day 

Not included: 

  • Airfare to Quito Mariscal Sucre International Airport:

  • Additional nights prior or after the tour

  • Tips for guides and lodging staff

  • Passport fees, visas, medical costs, immunizations or insurance

  • Alcoholic beverages and bar bills (including sodas) are to be purchased directly from the lodges

  • Laundry or any personal services available through the lodges

  • Cost of hospitalization and evacuation if necessary​

Who this tour is for:

  • This tour is designed for photographers and nature lovers.  Each lodge in our itinerary has hiking trails. 

  • Our primary goal is to provide the best opportunities to photograph the magnificent bird species and biodiversity of Ecuador. 

Physical Requirements:

  • This tour is physically very easy  - with optional short walks and trails

  • Keep in mind that Quito's elevation is 9,350ft and the Mindo Cloud forest is about 4200ft.

  • Day one is at leisure to relax and get acclimated to the altitude 

  • All participants should be able to carry their own equipment throughout the tour.

Additional Excursions / Side Trips:  

  • Optional side trips available :

    • Antisana National Park Elevation 13,000 ft to view / photograph Condors and the Giant Hummingbird in their natural habitat

    • Ecuador's Amazonia (Yasuni Park / Napo River) with opportunities to photograph macaws, parrots, giant river otters, 5 species of monkeys and much more!
